Super Teacher

Everyone can teach, everyone is being called to teach but then just a few of us are chosen. What are your qualities then or mark as a teacher or formally future teacher for you to say that you are the chosen one for the job? What can you contribute to the teaching industry to help the students pursue their study? Or what can you sow in this industry so that people has something to reap? To be a teacher is somewhat indurated because this is next to parenthood which is very crucial responsibility wherein you are going to raise not just one but many. As a student in almost thirteen years, I observed that there is a two kind of a teacher; the teacher who loves their designated subjects to teach and a teacher who loves her/his students. Let’s talk about the two, the first mentioned loves a perfect class a perfect student, he/she likes that everyone of the class must understand the topics given by him/her and if they don’t they are being scolded physically, being embarrassed a...

A Valiant Leader

Have you met a valiant leader? Since then Duterte when he’s still one of the candidates for the presidency and now he is already the president, his face is every day on media like an advertisement because of the way he expresses himself; a brutal, inhumane way of talking but I like it how he straight things out. I am wondering why Duterte wins the race for the presidency with a total vote of 15 million+ besides rumors and judgments. Because of that I browse the internet about him and I read a good article by an OFW Filipina, she wrote that Davao City is one of the peaceful cities worldwide because of the leadership of Mr. Rudy Duterte. She describes Duterte as a simple man wearing a polo shirt, slacks and leather shoes navigating the city around without noticing that it was him. He doesn't want just to stay in his office doing paper works, he stands fearless and walks manful to stave off crimes. And it is one of the trivia that only Davao City and the United State...

SABBATH DAY

I feel grateful in my inner core to be your speaker for the second time. First of all, I wanna greet all of you a good morning! The topic that was given to me by the president, is about “How attending the sacrament every Sunday helped you in your daily life?” To start my talk let me share with you some chapters of mine; when I was in first and second-year high school I sometimes go to church if I feel too and if someone invites me. I love reading books one is the Bible, I sometimes argue with my friends about the Bible and about their beliefs and my understanding until such time they question me; how could you say that you don’t even attend Sunday services? And then they invited me to come to attend with us to understand the words of God. I tried to attend the church, it was good and yeah I can say that the church helped me but there is something missing that my heart is searching for. At first, the pulling force of the church was good but when I’ve gone through it the force was ...

The first Grader: Reflection

Based on a true story This story is about an 80 years old man named Marugue. He heard news about education for all and because of his desire to learn he decided to enroll in an elementary school in their town.  At his first account of the school, the teachers refuse to accept him because he is very old for grade one. The next day, he went again to the school with a complete uniform. The other teacher don't want to let him in but when teacher Jane saw him again, she was amazed for this old man saying “you cannot easily give up are you? " he answered " yes ' cause I know what I am fighting for " Marugue let teacher Jane see the newspaper.  This woman knows the right thing to do so she let the old man enter the school even her fellow teachers have strongly disagreed. First time at his class, Morugue doesn't even know how to write his name as well as numbers. But because of patience and a strong desire he learned to do it and of course with th...

Ghajini: Reflection

We really cannot predict what will happen in our lives the next day. If you are at the upper part of the wheel you cannot say that you'll stagnantly stay there because wheels turn and that' s the best description of life. Always put in your mind that there are always two sides of a coin it emphasizes that all things under the sun have always an opposition, It's between the bad and the good. But after all, God gave us the freedom to choose and gave us the intelligence to decide what are the right things to do. And that is the movie " Ghajini " all about. You will learn to the story that there are decisions that we know it's the right thing to do but as we move on we'll realize that we've thrown a gas into something that is burning. On the other side, you can appreciate how the decision will come out naturally in our minds to do good things. The character of Aamhir Khan " Sanjay "tickled my heart. He was a kind of a man who bo...

The Church

Someone said to me when I was a High school " those people who always go to the church who've done always ungood things are better to those people who sometimes go in the church who've done a lot of good things ". I answered, " I think so, the important for me is I am asking forgiveness and I am doing what's good". I think she told that to me because I sometimes go to the church. I was a little bit confused to what she'd told me. Because of deeply thinking, I come up with a good realization that even I do good things I must go to church for me to strengthen my faith more and to help others also to strengthen theirs. When I was high school I go to church if I feel to go and if someone invites me. I think the reason why I sometimes attend the church is because I am confused where is the church that I must attend. And maybe because of the people who are attending mass always but I don't see it to themselves how they live their faith, they've...

Becoming A Lifetime Reader

Becoming a lifetime reader is very important. Not only for fun but also to discover new ideas that are needed for us to face " life". In our way, we are experiencing unexpected momentous wherein we struggled. We are looking for some counsel, comfort, answers to anyone but sometimes the persons that we expect to help us they fail for they aren't perfect. I testify that through reading books especially the scriptures; The Bible, Doctrines, and Covenants, The Book of Mormon, etc. we can find what we are looking for, you can understand what you don't, you can find comfort, counsel, and help. Through reading ( especially good books ) you can invite the spirit to nourish your heart, mind and so on with your soul. Through reading, you can understand more about your life. You will appreciate the essence of reading if you give attention. I believe that " reading provides ways to live ".

Strengthening our Faith to lord Jesus Christ

Christians and other religious people are often called “people of faith,” but do you ever wonder if your own faith needs a little kick-start? We read in the gospels when Christ tells his disciples that if they have faith like a grain of mustard seed, they could move mountains. If that’s the case, our own faith feels like it’s in the size category of a subatomic particle. Is there a way to strengthen our faith? Of course, there are... By the way, What is faith though? Do we really understand it? Although faith has several definitions, we can define it as the heart’s conviction of truth, and mental affirmation of that truth. Faith plays a key role in our salvation as well as our daily life as believers. So how can we know if our own faith to lord Jesus Christ is weak? When we're weak in faith — - We can doubt God’s forgiveness. - We're not sure God loves us. - We don’t believe God is in control. - We tempted to pursue sin more than Jesus. - We worry about ...

Live like A Child

Hello, Everyone! wishing for you a wonderful time. This time I will talk about " Live like A Child " This will be the first blog I hope it can help you to unwind and hoping also that the door of your heart and the windows of your mind will be opened by reading my blogs. If you are going to look back 10 years from now or you are going to reminisce your childhood you can see different things, a different changes to yourselves and to your environment and you can say " the time is really moving fast " It's just like yesterday I am eight years old happy playing with my peers- running, bathing at the river without any clothes and making "bahay-bahayan" and "toytoy-ob" at the riverside, hide and seek, shouting at the hanging bridge. What nice experiences are those, no problem to think for it's just like " hayahay ang buhay ". You are innocent for everything, and then when you are scolded by your mother or your father with...
