Photography


Photography is not just taking pictures for the purpose of recreation or to have something we post on our social media accounts. As PicsArt implies ”Picture is Art” an art that a photographer can create from any genre, still life, street photography, documentary, landscape, nude, portrait, using a particular style–point of view, choice of lens, type of lighting, color or black and white for deeper purposes.

The world is being polluted by photographs, as we surf the internet we see a different kinds of pictures for different purposes. Some are for the advertisement of any services and products, some are just for fun- sharing pictures of what they do every day, sharing pictures showing their cool body and it is a fact that they use also photographs to kill someone’s image, bullying and to blackmail, and for porn.

I believe that there is a deeper essence of having photography in our lives, I believe that Heavenly Father gave us this for the purpose of sharing the beauty of life which is happiness that can be attained through the plan of salvation. This has something to do in spreading the truth about the Heavenly father’s creations and I believe so, that this has something to do in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Look around you, a two-year-old child can even manipulate a smartphone to take pictures. This is because we are being born having this talent in ourselves naturally and this is a gift from God because He knows that His spirit children for this era need this for His plans to be done.

So, instead of using photography for just useless stuff, why not use it in inspiring and spreading words of wisdom or bible verses that can inspire someone. Your one post can comfort and lift up someone in distress.

HEAVENLY FATHER

Sometimes we wonder if God really exists, we always question His existence in times of our trials that we always say, ‘if there is God why I am suffering all of this agony in my life’. Brothers and sisters, I testify that there is God. Look around you, you can see many beautiful things, in the land, in the water, and in the sky. What a beautiful creation, right? And everything of these is perfectly designed by God. Think about the galaxy, the constellation of stars, and how perfectly our planet earth designed.                I believe in prophets and leaders and revelations they received, but sometimes I doubted them not only the leaders of higher ranking but also local leaders of the church. This doubt has led me not to trust some leaders of the church and at some point, it had affected me in doing my responsibilities as a member such as paying my tithes, fulfilling my callings, and my personal progress. It’s disappointing when you see leaders who are misled by their personal desire.
