HEAVENLY FATHER

Sometimes we wonder if God really exists, we always question His existence in times of our trials that we always say, ‘if there is God why I am suffering all of this agony in my life’.

Brothers and sisters, I testify that there is God. Look around you, you can see many beautiful things, in the land, in the water, and in the sky. What a beautiful creation, right? And everything of these is perfectly designed by God. Think about the galaxy, the constellation of stars, and how perfectly our planet earth designed. All we have is theory on how these planets were created, and no one can prove that the universe's existence has naturally occurred. Like the great things we made here on earth, we designed something, we create something because we have this God-given knowledge to put something into existence. Our activities here on earth are enough to prove that there is only one God, who designed, planned and put all the living and all great things into existence.

Our Heavenly Father works in mysterious ways, He doesn’t want us to always rely on Him for miracles to happen. He wants us to believe in Him and in His plans, He wants us to work to strengthen our faith. He wants us to live accordingly with the commandments He gave us with all our hearts, strengths and minds. Think about it your life is already a miracle from God, the people and all you have are miracles from God. Be forever grateful for what you have because these are from God, He can get it back anytime as He wanted.

It is important for us to understand the attributes of God. Because we are made in His image ( Moses 2:26; 6:9), we know that we are like Him. His eternal spirit is housed in a tangible body of flesh and bones (D&C 130:22). God’s body is perfected and glorified, with a glory beyond all description. God is perfect, He is a God of righteousness, with attributes such as love, mercy, charity, truth, power, faith, knowledge, and judgment. He has all the power, knows all things, and full of goodness.

All things come from God. Everything that He does, is to help His children become like Him.  He has said, “Behold, this is my work and my glory – to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man” (Moses 1:39).

It is very important for us to know our Father in heaven. Because if we draw ourselves knowing Him, we come to know and understand His works and we come to grow our love for Him. The first and greatest commandment is we must love the Lord our God, with all our heart, (Matthew 22:37).

To know more about God, for us to grow our love with Him. We need to study the scriptures, ponder it, and live it. If we do this, if we seek about God every day, our faith will grow, wide enough to illuminate light to others, to uplift someone’s spirit, to give them hope, strength to overcome trials. Through this, we are already a missionary.

I hope this blog can help everyone who wants to seek more about God, to grow their faith and love for God. If you have comments or questions, please leave it in the comment box.
I leave this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

Ghajini: Reflection

We really cannot predict what will happen in our lives the next day. If you are at the upper part of the wheel you cannot say that you'll stagnantly stay there because wheels turn and that' s the best description of life. Always put in your mind that there are always two sides of a coin it emphasizes that all things under the sun have always an opposition, It's between the bad and the good. But after all, God gave us the freedom to choose and gave us the intelligence to decide what are the right things to do. And that is the movie " Ghajini " all about. You will learn to the story that there are decisions that we know it's the right thing to do but as we move on we'll realize that we've thrown a gas into something that is burning. On the other side, you can appreciate how the decision will come out naturally in our minds to do good things. The character of Aamhir Khan " Sanjay "tickled my heart. He was a kind of a man who bo...

See the Good

I believe in prophets and leaders and revelations they received, but sometimes I doubted them not only the leaders of higher ranking but also local leaders of the church. This doubt has led me not to trust some leaders of the church and at some point, it had affected me in doing my responsibilities as a member such as paying my tithes, fulfilling my callings, and my personal progress. It’s disappointing when you see leaders who are misled by their personal desire. Sometimes I even doubted if our church is a true church of Jesus Christ because of them.   I talk to one of my classmates in the institute about it and she said sometimes it is easier to see mistakes than good works. I sometimes tell people what she said, and I never told it to myself, hearing from a friend those words have galled me in a positive way, it is so strong. It came in my mind that we are not perfect, even the prophet is still only a human and it is ...
